Dynasty of Light is founded by Kelsey Straight: intuitive guide, storyteller, and bolt of lightning inspired by the limitless potential of who we are and the stories we embody that create the world.

Kelsey studied Creative Writing in The University of British Columbia’s internationally-acclaimed program and authored two novels before completing her undergraduate degree. In 2012, she moved to New York City and began working in film-and-television acquisitions and distribution, while continuing to focus on her personal writing. Four years later, Kelsey self-published her first memoir, All This While F*cking: Sex, Self, and Social Stigma in the Modern Age, a holistically-focused project aimed at raising awareness and changing the conversation around mental and sexual health. Kelsey created an online social media and Indiegogo campaign using a book trailer and promotional video, which raised thousands of dollars for key charities holding thematic connections to the book, including Planned Parenthood, Heads Together, and Pronto International.

In 2017, Kelsey was inspired to step back from the film-and-television industry. She began following her heart along the sacred path of awakening, deep soul healing, energetic mastery, and personal expansion. She started supporting other authors in sharing their stories, working as a book editor for The Self Publishing Agency for two years, during which period she edited over thirty books, focusing on stories about personal development, relationships and sexuality, spirituality and awakening, poetry, self-help, and children’s books.

In 2020, in the throes of her Saturn Return, Kelsey began experiencing a profound kundalini awakening that opened her professional path to include intuitive energy reading, clairvoyance and dreamwork, inter-dimensional and shamanic healing modalities, telepathy, mediumship, and the knowing that each of our lives are truly channeled and interconnected stories, which we have the power to rewrite, edit, polish, and embody anew.

Kelsey’s movement through several years of inner-child healing led to experiencing deep soul-level connections with children and teenagers who possessed attuned energetic and intuitive sensitivities, as well as those managing intergenerational trauma and recovering from sexual abuse. Kelsey works with these children and teenagers in healing, education, and mentorship roles, instilling within them new energetic templates and sharing the awareness and tools she gained through mastering similar sensitivities and experiences. Kelsey is available to work with children and teenagers whose families need extra support, or whom the system has otherwise neglected to provide with safe resources. In addition, Kelsey is currently seeking development partners for a visionary project that includes creating an innovative school to support these young beings, with teachings and systems tailored to our ever-changing world.

Kelsey founded Dynasty of Light in 2023 as an umbrella to hold her diversity of passions, projects, and service offerings. She continues to serve as a book editor, collaborative writer, ghostwriter, and publishing-support consultant, in addition to writing for film and television and supporting others in preparing creative projects for sale and development in the entertainment industry. Now more than ever, Kelsey is available for co-regulative field work, intuitive guidance, grounded presence sessions, energy readings, frequency activations, tarot and oracle experiences, and speaking-and-teaching events designed at illuminating the inner mystic, remembering who we are, activating our infinite capacities, and collectively shifting from unity consciousness into unconditional love.

Kelsey also holds space for clients looking to work consciously with sacred medicines, keeping the container safe, protected, and integral. In partnership with these medicines, Kelsey provides in-depth energy reading, live channeling, immersive mediumship, and transmutation work, with the intention of quantum-shifting her clients along their personal pathways of healing, expansion, alignment, self-actualization, and spiritual freedom.
